How long does it take to arrive?
Longer than a metro delivery, and anyone who promises you a firm day is guessing. Freight consolidated through a terminal typically adds one to three days, a residential address with an appointment adds another one to two, and between November and March winter conditions on the western corridors can add one to three more. We will give you a realistic window and tell you it is a window.
What do I do if it arrives damaged?
Inspect it before you sign, not afterwards. Unbox enough to see the finish, and write any damage on the delivery receipt in front of the driver. A clean signature makes a freight claim very difficult to win later. Cosmetic marks from handling are the most common claim on appliance freight, so this one step matters more than anything else you can do. Will the driver bring it inside and install it?
Assume not unless it is written into your quote. In freight terms a curbside delivery leaves the item at the door with no set-up, no unpacking and no removal of packaging, and even inside delivery only means past the first threshold into the first covered space. It does not mean the kitchen, and it does not mean installed. Arrange a local installer for the day it lands.
Can I see the appliance before I buy it?
